HELLO!

We’re the Hocking Family—a family of six (plus our adventure-loving cat and dog) from Iowa who traded a traditional lifestyle for the open road. In 2021, we sold our house and nearly everything we owned to pursue our dream of exploring the United States in a converted school bus. Our mission? To visit all 50 states (49 of them in our bus!) and as many National Parks as possible. So far, we’ve checked off 48 states and 45 out of 63 National Parks, and we’re not slowing down!

Our best memories come from adventuring together, whether hiking through breathtaking landscapes or discovering hidden gems across the country.
